Terms & order policy
The short version: measure carefully, and if something arrives damaged, that’s on us.
Orders & quotes
Every kitchen is quoted on its own. We price the project — the layout, how many cabinets it takes, the finish — rather than selling off a price list, so the number you get is for your job and not an average of somebody else’s.
- We work out what the kitchen needs — in Greater Orlando & Central Florida, at the in-home visit; anywhere else, from the sizes and item codes you send us.
- You get a quote. It covers the cabinets and delivery to your driveway. Sales tax is added on your order.
- If you accept it, we send you an invoice by email. There is no deposit and no payment plan — the invoice is paid in full.
- Once your payment clears, we place the order with our supplier. That is the moment the order becomes real, and the moment sizes and finishes stop being changeable.
A quote is good for 14 days from the date on it. After that we write you a new one. Cabinet prices and freight both move between the day we quote and the day we order, and we would rather send you a current number than hold one we can’t honour.
Measurements & sizing
Worth reading twice — this is the one thing here that can cost you real money.
In Greater Orlando & Central Florida, we measure. We come out, measure the kitchen ourselves, and design around what’s actually there. If a cabinet we specified doesn’t fit, that is ours to put right.
Anywhere else, you measure. We take orders nationwide, but outside Greater Orlando & Central Florida we are taking an order, not designing a kitchen: the finish, the item codes and the measurements are yours, and we order exactly what you give us.
Either way, size is not reversible. Our cabinets ship assembled, and assembled cabinets cannot be returned to the supplier at all — a cabinet ordered to the wrong size cannot be sent back or exchanged. That is the whole reason the in-home visit exists: we would rather measure it ourselves than have you find out afterwards.
Customer ordering errors
Orders placed in error — wrong size, wrong finish, changed mind — are the customer’s responsibility and carry a 25% restocking fee. That’s a pass-through of what our supplier charges us to take an order back — we don’t add to it.
Damage in transit
If your order arrives damaged, we make it right at no cost to you — we file the claim with our supplier. You never deal with them.
What keeps that promise alive:
- Check the delivery before you sign. Write any damage on the driver’s receipt — a clean signed receipt is the carrier’s proof nothing was wrong, and it undermines the claim.
- Don’t install or assemble anything before you’ve looked it over. Once a damaged part is installed, it stops being a transit claim.
- Tell us within 7 days of delivery, with photos — the box and the part.
- We file the claim. Our own window with the supplier is 14 days from the day your order ships, and we are the ones who have to file inside it — the 7 days is what leaves us time to.
Returns
Cabinets that arrive damaged, or that aren’t what you ordered, go back — that is the claim above, and it is on us. What cannot go back is a cabinet that arrives undamaged and matches your order: ours ship assembled, and assembled cabinets can’t be returned to the supplier, so there is no change-of-mind return. If you order without an in-home visit, the measurements and the item codes are yours — which is exactly what the visit is for.
Payment
One invoice, sent by email through Stripe and paid in full before we order. You can pay it by card or bank transfer from the invoice itself, or mail us a check. No deposit, no balance due later, and nothing is ordered until your payment clears.
How paying works has the whole sequence, including where you stand if you cancel before we order.
Agreement
Placing an order means agreeing to these terms.
