Black, with the grain reading through it. The most deliberate choice in the line: it makes brass or matte-black hardware the point of the room, and it is unforgiving of a cramped layout. Beautiful on a island against lighter perimeter cabinets.
Sherwin-Williams UV finish. A waterborne finish cured with UV light into a hard, scratch-resistant surface — low in VOCs and formaldehyde-hazard free.
